A meditation on Fried Chicken and Friendship

Last night was the much- anticipated Carrie- Libby- Brigid girls night. I only wish I was kidding when I say that it took us SEVERAL months to find a date that would work for all three of us.

We met at Carrie’s super charming apartment after work and proceeded to eat a gourmet meal of Fried Chicken, Pesto Garlic Bread, Chips and Salsa and the all important Cheese and Crackers.  We are true Epicureans.  (seriously...can somebody invent that sarcasm font already? I will pay you in compliments!)

I thought I took more fun photos of Carrie's apartment (to steal for her ideas for my own home, of course!) but I only ended up with a few. I will just invite myself back over. (Not sarcasm!)

And that's only what I remember.  It had been way too long since I laughed so hard my face hurt.

By the way, Brigid showed up with KFC and Martini's. My life would suck without her.
